tha big game

The biggest day in sports is nearly upon us. The Super Bowl is the most watched sporting event almost every year. This is the ultimate game. When the Super Bowl happens, there are lots of Super Bowl parties. Most of us will attend a Super Bowl party.

There are some DO's and DON'Ts when it comes to the Super Bowl

DO- know who's playing in the game. You'd be surprised how many people (women...lol) don't know who's playing

DO- know SOMETHING about the teams that are playing.

DON'T-
show up to a Super Bowl party with a New York Jets jersey on. There's nothing more irritating than seeing a dude with a jersey on and his team is NOT playing.

DO- know what to wear (women). Come to the party dressed for the occasion. Leave the flip flops at home

DO- (women) know that there may be other women who are at the party who look better than you. Understand that when you walk in the room...you aren't the center of attention...the game is.

DON'T- bet on this game

DON'T- argue with people at the party. Fights at a Super Bowl party CAN happen. LOL

DO- (men) know if the woman who you want to approach is alone or with someone. Fights at a Super Bowl party CAN happen. LOL

DON'T- drink too much

DO- have a designated driver

DO- talk trash

DON'T- talk too much trash

DON'T- show up to the Super Bowl party with a Cardinals jersey. You're not a fan of the Cardinals.

DON'T- yell "Homerun" when a touchdown is scored. Please know what sport that you're watching.

DON'T- talk too much during the game (women....drunk men). Talking too much will piss somebody off. And you'll probably miss something

DON'T- worry about watching the famous Super Bowl commercials. If you wanna watch the commercials...stay at home.

DO- be safe as you go home. There are just as many drunks on the road after the Super Bowl as there are drunks on New Years Eve.

If you don't know...now you know!!!

So...who's gonna win? Arizona or Pittsburgh

@ O
I think it'll be a good game. I think the Steelers will win.

@ Pigskin Loving Lady
Haaaaa! Not tryna start a riot. I know that you know about the game of football.

I was at a party last year and I was talking to a woman who had NO clue about who was playing. She was just there to be cute and to pick up a man. LOL. True story

You think 'Zona can win? I think the Steelers will win 30-24

I am appauled by this post... especially all these damn (womens) in parenthesis...

first of all IDK care where the hell you live... if it aint Africa... you should not be wearing flip flops in jan-feb no matter what the occasion..

Also a damn superbowl party is not a damn fashion show so what is all this mess about somebody looking better than somebody

I think I may have to boycott your blog for a little while after this post

@12 Kyle I believe you but this is why I'm trying to spread the word. The book is coming.

In regards to the game, I always route for the underdog. Dick LeBeau will have the Steelers defense running all type of schemes, but if Warner has time, coupled with his quick release, they can win. It should be a fun game to watch.

LMAO Kyle, you are a nut...but you know I was at a Superbowl party two years ago and three of the ladies there were dressed as if we were in a night club...Micro-Mini
skirts, Stripper heels, et al and it was February and snowing outside. All the guys had on jeans
and sneakers and hoodies..Not one of us was dressed up..Those of us who had wives or girlfriends felt some kind of way because we wanted to look, but we couldn't and our wives had on jeans and sneakers..So
you can imagine how uncomfortable that was..I feel you on that. These
mini skirted girls were the very ones who would yell out homerun when it was a touchdown..They came
to find a man..They knew nothing about the game...but they were fine..I just happened to sneak a peak during the commercials...I told my wife how shocked and APALLED I was at the way those women were dressed...I don't think she believed me though.-lol.

What if your woman wants to cuddle and talk instead of watching the game?

This year's super bowl is going to suck...BORING...and I'd rather cuddle and talk instead of watch the game...what should I do?

Her and the dog should have a real good time because I'll be watching the game.

Yes these must be known.

Boycott??

@ Pigskin Loving Lady
I agree. I think the game will be fun to watch. It'll be interesting to see the how Pittsburgh tries to attack Warner

@ Hadassah
Heyyyy! Welcome back

@ Keith
Haaaaa!!! That reminds me of the Super Bowl party that I went to last year. I went to a party at a dudes house who currently plays in the NFL. There were at least 90 chicks there...and 85 of em were dressed like they were going to the club. I wasn't there with my wife. I went dolo. LOL

@ Ra
Haaaaaa! You are funny!

@ Beautifully.Conjured.Up
The Super Bowl is only ONE day, sis. You can cuddle for the rest of the year. I would suggest that you let him enjoy those 3 hrs of football and then he's all yours. You feel me?

@ Anonymous
Haaa! Not the dog! LOL

@ clnmike
No doubt!

Now I feel a bit offended as a woman, I don't even watch football like that and I know whose playing when I've attended Superbowl parties with my hubby!

Flip flops, looking cute, WTH? If its about the game none of these things matter.

You crack me up, Kyle! But what do you mean "dressed for the occasion"? Call me crazy, but I don't see nuthin wrong with sum flipflops. Superbowl is NOT the prom or the club, right?!
