After working in Minneapolis for the past 10 months, I've grown to appreciate his music even more. He is a hometown hero there. They still play his music. One night, I got word that he was supposed to be playing at some club downtown. I went there looking for him but he never showed

I have a friend who sings background for him now. The girl can blow. She was the bald chick sitting beside him at the BET Awards, Shelby J. When I tell you ol' girl can sang her face off, that's what I mean!

My favorite Prince song = ALL OF THEM
Every single ballad Prince made was a hit and I kept me a huge fan. One of my faves in "International Lover"...phew! That song does it for me each and every time I hear it!
My favorite Prince songs are Purple Rain & Insatiable.
I've been a Prince fan for a while too Dit......but I have to admit that I like some of the 'lesser known' B-Side joints. Joints like "17 Dayz", "Erotic City", and "The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker" to name a few.....
Gosh, I'm a fan from waaaay back. I like his old stuff. I'll never forget my mom and sister being caught off guard by the poster included in his first LP where he was scantly clad. The suggestive nature didn't even register with me, I was 7 or 8 at the time.
One of his songs got me in trouble with my mom too. I didn't know whore was a bad word at time, needless to say I immediately knew when her head did a 360. LOL!
