can i flow???

I'm a fan of hip hop

And I know you're a fan of hip hop

And in every fan...there is an emcee! An emcee that's dying to be unleashed!

Have you ever stood in front of a mirror and lip synced the words to your favorite hip hop song? Have you ever put on an instrumental track and tried to freestyle? If the answer is yes, then you're a true fan. If the answer is no, then you a probably lying. LoL

One track that immediately comes to mind is Brooklyn's Finest by Jay Z featuring Biggie. Those are two of my favorite MCs. I would chop my arm off to get on that song to rock with Big and Jay.

What about you?

What song(s) would you love to rap on featuring your favorite MCs?

It would definitely have to be Eve's first single, "What Ya'll Want." This song was knocking my senior year of high school and EVERYbody at school knew that was MY SHIT!!!

you know what's sad and funny at the same time? the only rap songs I know the words to, besides the oldies & Biggie's, are Luda's *hangs head in shame*

That said, I think I would've done a better job on the hook of What's Your Fantasy- don't you think? lol

Any song would do by any artist I like, but the song that made me want to be in the video was Summertime by The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

But so that I follow the rules (which you know I always bend when you do these posts) I would have to say it would be The King of Rock by Run DMC.

All you sucker MC's perpetrating the fraud...

When it comes to rap collabs I'm still bitter that "the commission" with Biggie, Jay and Charli Baltimore never happened.

I'd be happy on a track with Jay and Em though.

I 'try' to flow all the time(when I'm alone in my room) and fail miserably every time. Now singing, I'd have loved to get on the hook of a few songs though.

I freestyle all the time. I used to be good, but for the last decade since I left that cannibis alone, I'm wack!!! Be tripping over the words and stuff, so I just do it in the car.

My favorite freestyle track used to be "Eye for an Eye" by Mobb Deep.

But my dream track collabo would be me, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, and Jay-Z over a DJ Premier beat.

First thing that comes to mind is MC Lyte's "Lyte as a Rock"......I so loved most of her songs.

Anything by the Cube from back in the day. But I'd probably be too busy tryin' to rip his damn pants off to spit...just sayin'.

Bring the Noise- Public Enemey

It Takes Two -Rakim

99 Problems- Jay Z

One More Chance- Notorious B.I. G.

Me and My Girlfriend- Tupac

Gin and Juice- Snoop Dog

Those are the ones I used to lip synch to the most when no one was around.

My daughter caught me one time and she joined in with me..I think she was about 16 and I was about 38..
(I know, too damn old to be freestylin....but I been a Hip Hop

"Black Ice". That song needs a dope female emcee.
