the golden era



Most hip hop historians describe hip hop's golden era as the music that was made from 1986 to 1996.

OK. Apparantly I am a little younger than you cuz I can't jump into this list until 91.I had a lot of these albums but I will pick a few that are on my alltime list.

Enter the Wu, Midnight Mauraders, Doggystyle, Didn't have SOM CD but I love the song 93 til Infifnity, Illmatic, Ready to Die, Southernplay..., Do you want more, Diary, Only Built...,Labcabin..., and Reasonable Doubt.

I also have to add ATLiens, stakes is high, resurrection, ironman..I could go on but I will stop now.

While listening to the first hour of the show that I missed last night. I was in conversation with myself as if it was live! Hence the tweets during my listening. Lol!

I'm elated to be in the number that appreciate the 'Golden Era'.

Dude. I forgot all about that first Pharcyde CD. That had me like O_O. Very eclectic indeed. BRILLIANT!

This list... makes me wanna cry! And throw a brick through all these current rappers windows! Ugh.

Dusting of the de la soul album.
That when music tied in with our culture and had a meaning.

I agree with Ladylee music these days makes me wanna jump off a bridge, especially when i find myself singing and rapping along.
