I used …to … travel….backwards
Only to realize… I should have been moving forward… instead

Running away from him…to the clutches…of men
Forgot…I'm a daughter…. of the King…
I feel my soul ache….as I lay on my back and fake…once again
Tears.. run down…my cheek…I cry…on the inside… I shake
But it's not…pleasure…rather…pain
As I close my eyes…and envision…His...blood... stain
But when it rains…it pours….pulled out my umbrella of faith
No more traveling backwards…I'm... moving forward…..

Baby I don't even need to go to church tomorrow after reading this here poetry. Lawd I'm looking a hot mess with all this snot running down my nose and dried up tears on my face. Lord that chile was bowling down my alley with this here. If me and Mabel wasn't going to the Riverboat today I would send this chile a love offering. But hell I can't afford to give up a dime of my slot machine money. I'm feeling lucky and I plan on hitting the jackpot on the penny machine this evening. Praise be to the Lawd for a good word and the sound of a jackpot in one day. That's faith baby praise him in advance for a big win. Take care now.
