WELCOME TO THE 12TH PLANET. This blog was created as a forum for you to discuss personal and worldly issues. It serves as a vehicle for you to express oneself.
My head hurts from crying and shouting...I want to say "f*ck yall" to the people who doubted him or DIDN'T VOTE FOR HIM, but I will act like I have some class. Thanks go out to the people who VOTED FOR BARACK, even though GA pissed me off with 39% (WTF).
Ummmm.....(I feel like I won an award)
*I have to go and get a drink and a plate before everyone drinks them all up and eat up the food*
WE DIDN'T RECEIVE 40 ACRES AND A MULE, BUT WE WERE BLESSED WITH 50 STATES AND A WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

This was HUGE. Not just huge to the nation or huge to African Americans. This was huge globally. I think the best man won (he KILLED McCain, but we won't go there) and I totally believe that he is going to help bring about the very change that this country needs.
I am so proud to be a black woman. When it comes down to it, we has black people can join together and get things done! We need to start doing this more often.
We got absolutely NOTHING done at work last night, everyone was SO excited when we heard the news and it's even better for the fact that most of the people I work with are around my age [20]. This was a WONDERFUL experience as far as it being my first time voting. I'm pretty much speechless, it's hard for me to wrap my head around how HUGE this is...
All I can say is "PRAYER WORKS!"....Let us continue to pray for PRESIDENT OBAMA daily that God will guide and protect him and that he will have wisdom and knowledge to make that the CHANGE for the better!
We were told we could not read or write. We treated like animals. Even through the primaries, all of the muslim talk...Rev. Wright and all of that negativity Barack still touched the heart of America. and He did it by a land slide. America saw no color last night....they saw change.
I'm all choked up...I never thought I'd live to see a moment like this...or that someone from my generation would actually have a chance to be President...I'm still drinking Champaigne...Getting ready to go to brunch in a few minutes, (if I can get away from the computer and stop posting on people's blogs-lolol)
While I always believed he would win, I also had that little thing in the back of my mind saying.. "Lord, please dont let them cheat us out of this one."
Well I am still in a state of emotion, happiness, reflection and gratitude. I almost cant believe it, I dont think its actually sunk in fully yet. Ive been emotional thru the day.
Rosa sat, so Martin could stand. Martin stood, so Obama could run. Obama ran, so that our kids could fly !!!
Now lets not forget, we all have to be a part of this, we have to work together, to hold up President Obama's image.
First I want to thank your blog fam for stopping by and signing the "I Voted" roll call.
Next I want to tell everyone to go out and buy a newspaper. It is going to be worth something years from now.
My heart is full right now. I am so proud of everyone who voted! My son and daughter woke up this morning asking mommy who won? When I told them Barack Obama won, my son looked at me and said "mommmy we are winners!" He absolutely right, we all are winners!
@ James Tubman First and foremost...this is a drama free blog. I don't get down with no bullshit. If you read my comment...you'll see that I never addressed you personally. All I said was for "whoever it was" to let that shit ride. Period. I never addressed you b/c I didn't know it was you. You've stepped up and opened your mouth so now we know.
That said...the next time that you feel the need to address me or this blog...you need to stick to the topic. I don't play no bullshit games bruh. You don't know me and I don't know you. Let's keep it that way. The few times that you've been on this blog...I have welcomed your commentary. But this comment that you just left is out of pocket, playa. And I don't get down like that.
As you can see...I haven't responded to any other comments on this blog but yours. I wanted to give our people a chance to speak about how they felt. And you're tryna fuck up our high! So...whatever "beef" you got with these people...chew dat shit up or spit it out...but don't bring it to the 12th Planet!!! That's my word, son!
Once again...if you want to comment about the topic...feel free bruh. I encourage that. I aint in your business. I made a comment and you've chosen to respond. But I won't stand here and let you berate me on my own fuckin blog, son. I don't know you...and you don't know me.
