The CurvyGirl tagged ya boi last week. I'm gonna step up to the plate. The goal is to list 7 random things about myself. Here it izzzzzzzz:
1. Winter Wonderland
I was born on December 9, 1972 in Newark, NJ. On that great day...we had nearly two feet of snow fall on the ground. Maybe the snow was a sign of my greatness! Anyway...having grown up in South Carolina...and spent the last 12 yrs in Atlanta...I've never seen more than 3 inches of snow on the ground.

2. The Name Game
Wanna know what my middle name is? Actually, I don't have a middle name according to my birth certificate and the Garden State. My middle name was never recorded on my birth certificate. I dunno why. After it was printed, my parents told the officials that I HAD a middle name and it should be on that document. They had given me a middle name, Deion, and were befuddled why it wasn't officially recorded. The records were never changed. But when I was enrolled in school, my mother made sure that my middle name was on every document. Ironically, I never really used the middle name on any official document once I got to college. I used the initial "D". I changed my mind once we had our first son. I gave him the name Deion...simply b/c it fit. And he DOES have a middle name.
His middle name is Kyle.
3. It's OUR birthday!
My birthday is December 9th
My youngest son, Brandon, celebrates his birthday on December 10th
My oldest son, Deion, was born on August 9th.
My middle son, Kameron, was born on August 8th
4. Food and Books
I always eat and read at the same time. I dunno why I do it but I've done it all my life. I've been reading a newspaper since I was 8yrs old. I will normally read a paper, magazine, or book with my meal.
5. S-P-E-L-L I-TWhen I was in elementary school, I won the spelling bee in 5th and 6th grade. And I'll challenge any of y'all to a contest! LoL
Seriously, spelling words have always come easy to me. I've never really adapted to the "spelling rules". I just know when a word is spelled correctly.
6. Crew Thick
For those that know me...know that I'm all about my crew. I'm one of the few people who I know who are still best friends with the same dudes from elementary/middle school. I think it says a lot about us when you see how our friendships have withstood the test of time.
7. Competiton is None
I am extremely competitive! I don't wanna lose at anything. I don't believe in "letting" anybody win, either. That includes my wife and kids. I don't wanna lose at a game of Spades, video game, a board game, etc. I'm not sure where I got the competitive spirit from but I have it. I pushed me all my life. One of the reasons why I was successful at football and other sports was b/c of my competitive nature.
hollatchaboi!!!
