The other day I stumbled as I entered our walk in closet.
I didn't stumble b/c I'm clumsy.
I tripped over a pair of shoes.
The shoes weren't mine. They belonged to Mrs12. She has a gazillion shoes. I understand that a woman should have a lotta shoes. I get that.
Sometimes you gotta keep it simple, tho. I don't get caught in that name brand stuff but I know what I like
For me, there's 3 pair of shoes that I need.
1. Black Cole Haan dress shoes- sleek...can go with any suit
2. White Air Force Ones- it's hard to find a white pair of tennis shoes but these kicks can go with anything
3. Wheat Timberlands- I've always had a fresh pair of wheat Timbs. One of my favorite shoes of all time
What about you? Could you condense your shoe game to 3 shoes? (prolly virtually impossible for some of you...but work with me here.lol)

I can't even tell you how many sneakers I have my room. 3 pair just couldn't do it. Creative Recs and Dunks are the best.
I can live with three pairs of shoes. Hell I only wear about three pairs now.

brown pair of riding boots (I have the ones from Uggs)
A pair of black Booties since they can be dressed up or down. (i got mine from Guess)
and because Im a single mommy I have to throw on the Air Max's. Comfortable for errands and works for my jog.
But my summer three are:
Pucci sandals (looks great with my all white outfits)
kitten heels
taupe mary janes.
That was as good as it gets. I knkow I didn't exactly follow directions :(
I don't even wear most of my shoes like that, but would find it damn near impossible to narrow it down to even 10 let alone 3.

ReplyDeleteI'm a sneaker fiend, I prefer Nikes but every once in a while, I find a cute pair of Reeboks or Adidas.
I also work in corporate America so I have to have a couple pairs of dress shoes too.
And I also have an assortment of "house shoes" because I am from the country and based on the way my parents talk about my childhood, you guys are lucky I wear shoes at all.
Well, I don't have nearly as many as my wife does, but I have more than three pairs..I got my Wheat Timbs, My Nike's and about five or six pairs of dress shoes to match
