  4. Being an 80s baby, I only know two songs...the last two.

Now I'm about to play 'Baby Got Back' and dance in front of the mirror...like it's no one's business (you know how I do).

  7. Boy these videos brings back memories! I gotta post of photo of me on my blog one of these days ,back when I had a Box haircut and my wife was wearing Gazelles...It was so wild...That's what these videos bring back. Remember Polka dot shirts?? I told my daughter (who was born in 1981) that she doesn't know nothin bout real Hip-Hop!-lolol.

  8. Love the throwbacks. Bad memories conjure up from "Baby Got Back". Imagine 13 white girls shaking their flat backs to this song in double-time. And don't let the part of the song come when the scratching starts. It looks like someone is getting tasered or suffering an epileptic seizure. Ugh.

But aside from the bad white girl memories, great picks! "Nuthin' But a G Thang" was the biz-ness!

  9. Self Destruction may be the most memorable song of my child hood man.. That was the shit.. I remember all those rappers and most of them were large by the time the song came out. I wanted to be like D-nice when i was little LOL. "Checkin out you suckas and you dont know how i did it" haha
But yea that movement was large real large in part to the New Jack City Era- dope was king and cats was wild'n.

All these joints was REAL large for their time. Addin to the youtube right now the Poor Georgie..-Q.
