After being divorced for 5 years now, i have became closer to God, and serve and praise God so much more than when i was married. True, as a married woman, i dedicated most of my time to my husband and children as i thought i should have, but being single has allowed me to not only care for my children and family, but give God his praise on the daily. I never visited those scriptures, and if i did, i don't remember them, i just know that thru experience and living i have come to accept where i am and live the best life i can live. Surely (and you know this to be true, as much as i speak on it on my blog...i would love to fall in love and be married again), but i am also wanting someone who is equally yoked and can serve my God with me, side by side! Great post Kyle! Loved IT!Mizrepresenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992754393960138393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6813540610750501617.post-70766559209034928802011-10-06T18:35:09.865-04:002011-10-06T18:35:09.865-04:00Very interesting... I agree with the fact that you should be happy whether married or single..MiSScNeLLYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12586391492078199137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6813540610750501617.post-73087972490174892402011-10-06T15:14:10.969-04:002011-10-06T15:14:10.969-04:00I had to read this post twice to understand what&#...I had to read this post twice to understand what's being said in those scriptures and I still couldn't fully grasp an understanding. I believe I'm sleepy.

But I do understand one significant thing - if two people are married, be happily married. If single, be happily single.

Probably better to serve God from a standpoint of happiness.Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02904024507867487521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6813540610750501617.post-7438262715019228132011-10-06T13:55:32.756-04:002011-10-06T13:55:32.756-04:00I think the point is that we shouldn't be so c...I think the point is that we shouldn't be so consumed with getting married if we're not. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. I've been married and now I'm not and I really would like to be again but I am also enjoying my single status while I can.chelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15468273174800571759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6813540610750501617.post-35753896834611791002011-10-06T11:49:38.820-04:002011-10-06T11:49:38.820-04:00That might be fine for someone Who Don't Give ...That might be fine for someone Who Don't Give A Crap about the union of what marriage means... I've had a taste of it and truly feel it's built in my DNA to be with the Lovely Lady in my life. I'm speaking for marriage, then divorced, then meeting someone that breathed life into the dreamer in me. I feel more distracted then ever before being single again. I suppose I get where those verses are going, to serving the Kingdom, but I'm not without flesh and yearn that of the flesh, meaning that of two becoming one and looking outwardly in the same direction.Tee Reesehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04382561307005765544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6813540610750501617.post-45412208999179007992011-10-06T11:49:17.040-04:002011-10-06T11:49:17.040-04:00That might be fine for someone Who Don't Give ...That might be fine for someone Who Don't Give A Crap about the union of what marriage means... If you're in church and living a "saved" life being single and having the ability to serve The Master is all well and good if you're a virgin. If not, then you are fornicating according to that same Bible those scriptures came from, so its best to get married IMO even though the idea of sex outside of marriage being a sin is antiquated. #formerchurchgirlGorgeous_Puddinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10085340272419221124noreply@blogger.com
